Be in to win your money back and $300 fuel

Members who book and travel from now until the end of August will automatically be in to win the cost of their ferry fares back plus $300 Z fuel. There will be four lucky winners – one per month from May to August. They just need to sail by the end of August.

Each monthly draw will include everyone who has booked during that month. Terms and conditions apply. It is our way of thanking Kiwis for supporting us as we rebuild.

Be in to win a family reunion

Bluebridge have also launched another competition on their Facebook page that is open to everyone. All you have to do to enter is comment on the Facebook post by May 21 and tell them who’d you'd like to be reunited with.

Current sailing capacity and safety measures

Bluebridge are currently operating one ship, the Straitsman, while their other ship, Strait Feronia, is at its scheduled dry dock until mid-June. They know there will be a lot of Kiwis keen to head across the Strait so recommend booking preferred sailing times soon to avoid disappointment.

Bluebridge have reduced passenger capacity under alert level 2 to keep passengers and crew safe, so you’ll have plenty of space to enable social distancing. Seating onboard will be zoned to make contact tracing easier if required.

Their ship and terminal are being cleaned even more regularly than usual and hand sanitiser is freely available. They're also issuing disposable boarding passes when you check in and payment remains cashless. You'll still be able to get food and beverages during your crossing and Bluebridge's hospitality team always adhere to strict food safety guidelines.

All fares are date changeable for free and if you'd like your own private space you can add a cabin with ensuite to their booking from only $30. They’re popular so pre-booking is recommend.
