David Abercrombie, Yachting New Zealand Chief Executive, advises that Application for resource consent, submitted to Auckland Council by the Harbour Access Trust has now been officially notified to the public.
The Harbour Access Trust has applied for resource consent for a Community Marine Activity Hub, located at the Northern end of Takapuna Beach. The Auckland Council must receive submissions from the public no later than 5pm on Monday 13th April, 2015.
Yachting New Zealand and the Harbour Access Trust encourage submissions in support of the application. Abercrombie says; “We believe that the establishment of a centralised world class Marine Activity Hub will be an asset to Auckland and New Zealand.”
