Yachting New Zealand is delighted to announce Finn Croft (Takapuna Boating Club) and George Gautrey (Muritai Yacht Club) as the recipients of the 2015 St John’s Rotary Scholarship.
The scholarship aims to support two young, talented New Zealand sailors to attend their class Youth World Championship Regattas. Finn will attend the RSX Youth Worlds in Poland during July and George will attend the Laser Radial Youth World Championships in Canada during August.
Both sailors have achieved top results during the New Zealand Summer and will be looking to build on this at their respective World Championships.
