A production company are hoping to find some specific sailing equipment for a film about Tami Oldham Ashcraft and her tale of survival after being hit by a category four hurricane in 1983.
The film, called Adrift, is expected to be released next year.
The items they are looking are:
- x4 - 44 Masport & Barlow Self Tailing winches - 208 overall height x 187 overall diameter.
- x2 - 40 Masport & Barlow Self Tailing winches - 194 overall height x 166 overall diameter.
- x2 - Halyard Jam Cleats - Easylock Midi Double
- x2 - Main Boom Jam Cleats - Midi & Small
- x16 - 32 series track - Genoa Cars
The production team need to instal them on their set for filming by the beginning of July and will be needed for 8-10 weeks of shooting. The items could either be hired or bought.
