The top mark two boats converged
And Goddy gleefully thought
We've got the Hesperus fellow now
He's coming across on port
The Starboard call was bellowed loud
Your time to move is dwindling

The Hesperus skipper called out loud
Ha! I’m not afraid of you guys
The Elliott crew just braced them self
And Goddy shut his eyes
A mighty crash was heard afar
Port beam was opened wide

Burst out the starboard side
It was a very dramatic scene
Green debris was everywhere
And the air had turned a shade of blue
As the Her skipper began to swear.
The patrol boat arrived to rescue all
