Register online now for Oceanbridge Sail Auckland

Oceanbridge Sail Auckland is New Zealand's only ISAF Grade 1 Olympic and Paralympic classes regatta. Last year, the regatta attracted over 230 competitors from 16 countries and many of those attended the event in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games. 

2013 is shaping up to be just as competitive, with names like: Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie in the 470, Peter Burling and Blair Tuke in the 49er, and  Alex Maloney with Molly Meech in the 49erFX already registered... the level of sailing is set to be world class.

When: 2-5 February 2013

Where: Royal Akarana Yacht Club, Auckland

Who: All Olympic & Paralympic class boats, and invited classes: 420, 29er, OK, 12' skiff, Access 303, Access Liberty, Kiteboard racing and more. 

Cost: $200 Single, $280 Multi-crewed

Registrations close: January 25th and late entries will not be accepted

Travel Subsidy Information:

The regatta organisers are pleased to announce a progressive travel rebate for Olympic and Paralympic class competitors from outside the Auckland region. The rebate is to encourage New Zealand wide Olympic and Paralympic sailors to join in New Zealand’s only ISAF Grade 1 regatta at Royal Akarana Yacht Club 2-5 February 2013.

The rebate applies to the boat transport to and from the competitor’s home club, and amounts to:

  • Whangarei and Northwards-  $100

  • Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth and South of Taupo- $100

  • Picton to Christchurch-$300

  • South of Christchurch- $400

Effective 1 December 2012, this offer is limited to the first 20 complete Olympic/Paralympic class registrations received by RAYC- so get your entries in quick!!   Rebates will be paid on arrival at registration.
