Register now: Feb 14th YNZ Hansa Training Clinic in Waitara
The first clinic has come and gone with a full subscription... why not get stuck into an intensive training clinic before the Hansa class National Championships? The next clinic will be 14 February in Waitara, ahead of the Waitara Regatta on Feb 15/16.
The 2013-2014 Hansa Class Training Clinics will focus on developing novice racing skills for sailors with a disability, and the event will be open for sailors in the Hansa 303, Liberty and Skud. The next one is February 15th, so get your registrations in and start planning.
This is a free opportunity to brush up before a busy season of disabled sailing events including Oceanbridge Sail Auckland, Napier New Year Regatta, Watara Regatta, Mighty River Power Regatta, the Hansa National Championships and more...
This will be the the third season that Yachting New Zealand has delivered training clinics specifically for sailors with a disability, however this time, the focus has been slightly shifted to include sailors that have just a bit of racing under their belt who are looking to get better before the national championships.
There will not be a fee to attend, however for sailors will need to organize their own boat.
Tentative Clinic Schedule Friday Febraury 14th- to be confirmed one week prior to the event: 9.30am – 4.00pm
This second clinic in Waitara on February 14th is one day before the Waitara Regatta (February 15 & 16), just five weeks before the Hansa National Championships which will be held at Waitara Boating Club in Taranaki.
