Now this is good; the Tornados enjoyed their nationals here so much last year that they are returning to the bay.
Food is available each night at reasonable prices in the North Sails and Southern Spars tent. And don’t forget Thursday evening’s complimentary ‘handy burgers’ compliments of Southern Spars and North Sails. Yum….
**A Reminder: if you’ve entered your boat in the IRC Nationals - all crew members must be financial members of a yacht club affiliated to Yachting New Zealand - or be a member of his/her Member National Authority or one of its affiliated organisations**
**Reminder #2: If you come across a Super-Yacht during the day, don’t be smart and try to catch them out on Starboard….it takes at least 2 minutes to tack these beasts, and their tacking arc is huge. Plan your tactics well in advance…..**
Finally, your crew can't perform on an empty stomach so don't forget breakfasts at the North Sails/Southern Spars Marquee & lunches from the Opua Store. A lunch order form is available here. Complete & return it in advance, one less thing to worry about.
