This photo by Bill Evans is of the Secondary Schools Top of the South 420 class NBYTRA Regatta for secondary schools. This year Christchurch and Timaru schools attended along with the others take the total team tally to 11.
Nelson College Girls were here racing in the red boat, and Queen Charlotte College in the Yellow. Fifeshire Rock is in the foreground and Tahuna Beach (Nelson) in the background.
This regatta was won in very close high standard racing by Marlborough Boys College.
