Optimist sailors competing at the up-coming STACK Winter Championships are in for some terrific prize packages thanks to The Water Shed and North Sails.
THE WATER SHED / NORTH SAILS OPTI PRIZE
The overall winner of the Optimist Open Fleet at the 2012 STACK Winter Champs will receive the THE WATER SHED/ NORTH SAIL SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE which includes…
- A brand new NZ QPTIMIST by Dan Slater to use for the year including NZ Qptimist Hull on trolley with Foils, buoyancy bags and Harken fittings.
- Coaching from Dan Slater (four time Olympian and Americas Cup sailor)
- Brand new North Sails and Sail Development program with Derek Scott and Dan Slater
Importanta note: The prize winner must be eligible to compete in the 2013 NZ Optimist National Championships and be intending to compete in the majority of the 2012/2013 Optimist season regattas. He or she must be sailing for an Auckland Club and train in Auckland without any other commitments to another boat or sail manufacturer.

The 1st Female Optimist Open Fleet will receive Neil Pryde Sailing Gear including wetsuit, rash top, spray jacket and buoyancy aid.

The overall winner Optimist Green Fleet will receive a Magic Marine spray jacket and Rash top, and Little Hawk windicator.
