It has been a busy week at Murrays Bay Sailing Club at the 2014 Stack Winter Champs.
The main event was preceded by the popular coaching clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday, for over 120 boats and over 130 sailors featuring two wonderful days on the water with the 20 coaches.
Then it was on to the Regatta. On Friday the “A ”and “B” courses managed to get one race away before the breeze kicked into making racing out of the question in the afternoon.
On Saturday the organising committee made an early call to abandon racing for the day, this was proven to be a good call with some of the gust nearing the 50 knot mark.
