This month the world’s best Olympic class sailors in the heavy weight dinghy class start racing for their World Championship title at the prestigious 2015 Finn Gold Cup right here in Takapuna, Auckland.
Featuring more than 90 sailors, from 30 nations, including New Zealand and International stars
Media are invited for a media briefing and interview opportunity on the opening day of the Finn Pre-Worlds Regatta, and one week from the start of racing for the 2015 Finn Gold Cup.
It has been seven years since New Zealand last hosted an Olympic class world championship regatta in sailing and 35 years since the Finn class came to New Zealand for their world champs.
