Nominations are being called for the Lion Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award which is awarded each year at the Westpac Halberg Awards. Download the nomination form here.
Award Criteria
The Lion Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to an individual who over their lifetime has given outstanding service to sport as a competitor, administrator and/or coach, at local and/or national level and has not generally received national recognition.
Please see the attached criteria document for details on criteria, nominations and judging. This a wonderful opportunity to recognise someone who has made a fantastic contribution to your sport.
Nominations:
1. May be made by sporting organisations, clubs, Halberg Trustees or the general public.
2. Must be on an official nomination form detailing the nominee’s service and achievements. – the official nomination form is attached.
3. Can be made at any time. NB only nominations received before 31 October are considered for that year’s award.
4. Unsuccessful nominations will be held and can be updated yearly. Please note that any nominations that have not been updated for three years will not be considered.
Past Nominations:
Halberg Trust is updating the information on all the nominations we currently hold. If your organisation has nominated an individual in the past we require you to resubmit this nomination with updated information on an official nomination form.
All current nominations that are not updated will be withdrawn from consideration. Please contact Halberg Trust Office at office@halberg.co.nz if you have any questions about this.
