This month Miami, Florida plays host to many of the world’s best Olympic and Paralympic sailors when Sailing World Cup Miami gets underway on Monday 25th January.
A solid contingent of NZL Sailing Team, Aon Fast Track Squad and other kiwi sailors have arrived into the American venue and are preparing for next week’s regatta.
With the 2016 Rio Olympic Games recently passing the 200 days to go milestone, and rivalries for Olympic selection very closely fought, this is a regatta which will see every individual and crew wanting to perform to their very best.
Competitors in the Olympic and Paralympic classes will have five days of fleet racing from Monday, January 25 to Friday, January 29. Medal Races across the 10 Olympic classes will bring the regatta to a close on Saturday, January 30 where medals will be awarded to the top three boats.
