The Lowry Bay Yacht Club, in association with the Wellington Boat Show, is organising the 24-Hour Endurance Yacht Race on Wellington Harbour on April 8-9, 2017.
Skippers from yacht clubs in the greater Wellington area have reacted positively and enthusiastically to this initiative and several have already indicated they want to take part in this unique event.
Entry forms, notice of race and sailing instructions will be on LBYC’s website from February 1, 2017. However, organisers would like to get an early indication from skippers whether they intend to take part by means of a non-binding expression of interest to help them with their planning.
