Mid February’s Volvo National Sailing & Boating Day is shaping up to be a nationwide phenomenon.
Our What’s happening, and where? page now features close to 40 Clubs from all around the country with details of a wide range of events planned for Sunday February 16th and registrations from Clubs are still being accepted.
Event packs will be sent over the coming week to all Clubs who have registered including…
- Customisable Volvo National Sailing & Boating Day posters in A2 and A3 size
- A bunch of Get Sailing! brochure cards
- A stack of Sailing… Sail for Life! Bumper stickers
- A Yachting New Zealand flag
Yachting New Zealand will kick off a media push to encourage national, regional and community media to cover Volvo National Sailing & Boating Day and participating Clubs are encouraged to support our efforts and get in touch with your local media contacts.

If your Club doesn’t yet feature in our What’s happening, and where? list there is still time. Register now and we will list your Club’s activities on our site, send you an Event Pack and include you in our media push.
