Organisers of this year's Hyundai 49er, 49erFx and Nacra 17 world championships are looking for Aucklanders to host a young sailor or volunteer during competition.
As many as 400 sailors will compete at the world championships to be held at the Royal Akarana Yacht Club from November 29-December 8.
Several of the younger crews, including one from Denmark, have asked organisers if there are any families who would be willing to host them for the regatta. There will also be a number of volunteers from outside the Auckland area looking for accommodation.
