Gold medallists and coach recognised at Harbour Awards

Jo Aleh, Polly Powrie and their coach Nathan Handley were all recognised at the 2012 Massey University Harbour Sport Excellence Awards held on Friday 16^th November.

The 20^th annual 2012 Massey University Harbour Sport Excellence Awards saw 300 sportspeople, sporting legends and their supporters gather at the North Harbour Stadium Albany.

The evening was hosted by sports broadcaster Martin Devlin, and included guest speaker three time Olympic medallists windsurfer Barbara Kendall who shared her Olympic experiences with the audience.

The 2012 Regional Sport Excellence Awards organised by Harbour Sport celebrated outstanding sporting achievements of past and present Harbour people involved in sport.
