The future of Lyttelton Harbour

Issue date

Naval Point Club Lyttelton want to ensure that recreational yachting and boating continues on Lyttelton Harbour... this newsletter from the Club has the background and details on how you can support them.

Message from the Commodore:

Re Ecan submission to the “Draft Lyttelton Port Recovery Plan”  due before 5.00pm Monday 11 May 2015

Included is a brief summary of our formal submission that results from input from our members forum and committee, consultation with Ecan and Naval Point Stakeholders.
Please use this as a guide to the key points in making your individual submissions to the Draft Plan on link below, and also take the opportunity to speak to your submissions if you are able.
I cannot stress enough the importance that the weight of your individual submissions will have in this process, to ensure we can have appropriate facilities at Naval Point for many generations to come.
I will submit formally for Naval Point Club and we will present to the hearings on the club’s behalf, but do require the members personal submissions to contribute to this.
If you want a copy of the Naval Point Club Submission (21 pages currently) this is in final editing now and will be available to members later this week, please email club and we will forward a copy.

Find out more here.

Thanks
