The first coaches forum of the series was held on Monday night, and it was a great success.
31 coaches/coaching co-ordinators from around the Wellington region attended the 1.5 hour focused forum on 'Onshore Coaching' held from Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club.
Also in attendance were the Yachting New Zealand Participation and Development Manger, Andrew Clouston, Yachting New Zealand Regional Support Officer, Wayne Holdt, and special guest Kelly Curr, the Community Coach Advisor at Sport Wellington.
The chatter, networking, and attention was fantastic to see, ranging through all ages and clubs.
Thanks to EBYMBC for allowing us to use the club as a venue.
