Like many of the clubs and class associations around the country, the team at Yachting New Zealand have spent a chunk of the winter months reflecting on the season that’s been and how we can do things better once the new season starts.
A big part of this work was reimagining the way we engage with our members in 2023 and beyond – connecting with the people in our sailing community we already interact with, and those whom we have traditionally been unable to reach.
Involvement in our sport is vast and varied and celebrating the successes of all those people is no easy task.
Our new e-magazine Yachting and Boating Quarterly will allow us to do this by telling more stories in greater depth and helping us unlock new audiences through its multimedia platform and limitless distribution opportunities.
Over many years, our fortnightly newsletter Briefings has become synonymous with the way we share our sailing content and I believe the magazine will prove to be a perfect foil for it.
As the name suggests, YBQ will be published four times a year. It is free to read and has something for everyone, with sections on high performance, participation, and technology, equipment and fitness.
