We are pleased to announce the 2021 Voice of Participant survey is now open and invite members to have their say.
It'll only take about 15 minutes of your time, and will also put you into the draw to win two corporate hospitality tickets to January's New Zealand Sail Grand Prix event in Christchurch, as well as providing valuable feedback to help shape yachting in New Zealand.
If you have already received an invitation to complete the survey and were unable to finish it, we can report that this technical issue has now been resolved. Independent research company NeilsenIQ has apologised for this issue, and are providing additional prize draws as an extra incentive to try again, with three $100 prezzy cards now also up for grabs. NeilsenIQ is conducting the survey on behalf of Yachting New Zealand and Sport New Zealand.
This is the 3rd year Yachting New Zealand has participated in the survey. The results will help your club, Yachting New Zealand, and Sport New Zealand better understand our sport and the experiences had on the water, in the club, and with fellow members. Feedback received will help Yachting New Zealand understand more about the programmes and services that provide value back to the clubs. The more people who respond, the more accurate this understanding will be.
Results will not be reported in a way that will allow individuals to be identified unless you consent to do so. We would greatly appreciate your insights and ask you to encourage as many of your club members to complete the survey.
Everyone who completes the survey will go into the draw to win one prize of two corporate hospitality tickets to the New Zealand Sail Grand Prix in Christchurch* or an extra $100 in the form of a prezzy card.

Results from the first two years of the survey have proven incredibly valuable to the clubs which have participated with 30 or more members taking part.
Evans Bay Yacht & Motor Boat Club received a club-specific summary from the 2020 survey and found the information received very beneficial in helping them cement areas requiring focus.
