The 2015 Laser National Championships, on at Takapuna in January, has attracted excellent interest from a number of international sailors and organisers want to hear from anyone who has a boat to charter.
The regatta runs from 14 – 18 January 2015 on Auckland’s North Shore and the Class Association says the strong interest has presented them the challenge to find enough boats;
“We have a significant number of sailors from various countries looking for charter boats for the Laser Nationals in Takapuna,” says Nick Page. “We are really struggling to find boats for them as most of our Auckland members will be sailing.”
They are looking for relatively late model Lasers (ie. sail numbers newer than about 175000) that are in good condition. Anyone who has such a boat and is prepared to charter it out for a fee during the National Championships should email webmaster@nzlaser.org
