If you know anyone that is keen to get into sailing and boating, but doesn’t know where to start, please tell them about the Boating 101 Seminar at Westhaven Marina on the evening of Monday 10 November.
No experience or prior knowledge is needed for this session, hosted by Penny Whiting, which is all about the many different ways of getting into sailing and other kinds of boating, what you need to know, what equipment you need, and what the opportunities are. It’ll be fun and enjoyable, and the entry fee is only $20, 100% of which is donated to the Ponsonby Sailing School to support entry level sailing.
