Become a member of the NZ Access Class Association

Issue date

The New Zealand Access Class Association has an opportunity for you to show your support for growing inclusive sailing opportunities in NZ - contribute to class development by becoming a member today!

Not only is membership is an eligibility requirement for entry to compete in the Nationals, but is also open to anybody who has an interest in the Access Class and want to support the future development of the Access Class in New Zealand.

The objectives of the  New Zealand Access Class Association are to:

  • Benefit the community by encouraging and fostering enjoyment of the competitions, recreational and social aspects of sailing, particularly amongst people with disabilities.
  • Promote and develop Access Class racing under uniform rules at a local and national level for people of all ages and abilities
  • Provide a medium for exchange of information among Access Sailors.

As a member you will be kept up to date with Access Class developments in NZ, and internationally (there are some exciting developments due). Your support will help the Access Class Association to continue working nationwide to make sailing accessible to all through the support of sailors, existing and new sailability groups, and the further development of the pod of 2 303’s and a C-crane, which are made available for use in new areas throughout the country.

The membership fee is minimal - just $10/year for people under the age of 18, and $30/year for people over this age.  Please forward this message on to anyone else who might be interested in joining.

Membership form is attached at the bottom of this news item or you may get one by contacting
