Yachting New Zealand has an opportunity for sailors to get involved behind the scenes at the Auckland stop over for the Volvo Ocean Race.
As part of the festivities planned during the stop over, Yachting New Zealand is running a ‘Volvo Sailing… Have a Go!’ experience taking people for a sail in the viaduct harbour.
Yachting New Zealand are taking expressions of interest from competent sailors who would like to help skipper one of our new Topper Omega yachts alongside members of the NZL Sailing Team and Yachting New Zealand staff.
This is a great opportunity to be part of the stop over. All volunteers will receive some clothing, lunch each day and official volunteer accreditation.
The programme runs from the 28th of February till the – 14th of March, volunteers would need to be available from 9am – 5pm.

This is an Auckland based event and Yachting New Zealand are unable to contribute to the costs of any volunteers from outside of the area.
