The much-loved Bay Week beach party will return in 2019, with an evening of live music, good vibes, sausage sizzle and fully licensed cafe and bar service at beautiful Otehei Bay beach on the cards.
The Explore Beach Party will take place on Thursday, January 24, at Otehei Bay.
A ferry will depart Opua after racing concludes for the day, with pick-ups at Paihia and Russell along the way, returning later in the evening. Ferry tickets are just $10 per person return – a massive saving on the usual rate exclusively for Bay of Islands Sailing Week participants and company.
Organisers are asking for early bookings to get an idea of numbers for the ferry.
The Bay of Islands Sailing Week, which is on from January 22-25, 2019, typically attracts about 100 boats in New Zealand's largest keelboat regatta.
