Yachting New Zealand are looking for a regional support officer (RSO) for the northern region including Auckland, the Coromandel, Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
This is a key relationship role for Yachting New Zealand, providing on-the-ground support to clubs and sailors, helping build club capability, growing participation and raising awareness throughout schools and the community.
We require someone who is truly passionate about sailing and growing the sport; someone who knows yachting and boating clubs, is fresh thinking and has a creative approach to growing the sport. You need to be able to work with a wide variety of people (young and old), and be the face of Yachting New Zealand in the region.
This is a role requiring the RSO to manage multiple relationships and responsibilities over a diverse region and needs someone who is self-motivated and highly organised and able to work independently.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work outside 'normal working hours'.
