AON Talent ID Clinic in Wellington next week

Issue date

Evans Bay Yacht and Motorboat Club is set to host one of Yachting New Zealand’s AON Talent ID clinics in Wellington next week.

From 14-15 December around 20 young sailors will participate in two days of coaching provided by Yachting New Zealand as part of the push to promote youth sailing in the regions.

With a strong hub of youth classes and talented young sailors already in the region, Wellington sailors will benefit from coaching across the 420, Laser Radials, and 29er classes during the clinic.

Coaches for the two days will include Olympian Paul Snow-Hansen and Youth Worlds medallists Tamryn Lindsay and Tom Saunders.

The AON Talent ID clinics are aimed at developing young sailors in the regions to the AON National Youth Clinic level, and help them to upskill in the youth classes to reach the next step in their sailing.
