New Zealand Team Sailing has their major annual regatta starting on the 27th of April, the second week of the Secondary School holidays.
This is the Secondary School Team Sailing Nationals to be raced at Algies Bay, Warkworth this year. 32 teams are entered from all over New Zealand as well as one international team from Cook Islands.
Judging from the various regional regattas held last month the competition is likely to be very close with any of the five top teams being in contention to win medals and qualify for the Inter-dominions later in the year.
The regatta is sailed in 420s and will make a great spectacle in Algies Bay all week.
