Expressions of interest are sought from “Wellington Region” Clubs who have interest to host the 2017 420 Nationals.
The Wellington Region Clubs may include those South of Whakatane and North of Queen Charlotte, Picton.
General host requirements include:

Provision of an available rigging area for at least 22 x 420’s, availability of a local NRO fully aware of local conditions, tidal effects, local weather sense extremities, ability to provision accurate trapezoid courses, Host Club with briefing room, office and protest room, practical all weather all tide launching and retrieval facilities for RIB’s, secure RIB and 420 parking both overnight for road trailers and trollies during the day.

Flexibility to set a date sometime between the first Thursday after 2017 Oceanbridge Sail Auckland or 10 – 13th March, 2017. Traditionally 420 Nationals run Thur to Sunday.

The 420 Association plan to confirm the bidder by 14th March, 2016.
