The 2016 Yachting New Zealand Youth Trials will be held at Gulf Harbour Yacht Club 4 - 8 October 2016. We are really excited to take this event to such a great venue and are confident that we will be able to accurately simulate what the selected sailors will experience at the 2016 World Youth Sailing Championships.
For those sailors who live a substantial distance from Gulf Harbour and will not return home each day there are a large number of accommodation options on the Whangaparoa Peninsula. Click here to view some of these options. There are some rooms available at Gulf Harbour Lodge for a discounted rate, get in touch with Stuart Thomas directly if you are interested in these.
Yachting New Zealand is looking into getting a large trailer to help transport beach trollies from Murrays Bay Sailing Club to Gulf Harbour after the 2016 Winter Champs. Weather permitting we would like to do a coach assisted sail between the two venues to help with the logistics of moving between the two clubs on the Monday after Winter Champs. You will need to sign up to be a part of the coach assisted sail in advance, this will be done through the Youth Trials entry form. If you are able to assist with moving the trailers between the venues on the Monday please let Stuart know.
