Yachting New Zealand will be running a series of Race Officials Seminars throughout the country during winter 2015. These seminars are an important part of upskilling Race Officials within our clubs and mainating fair racing. All of the Seminars are free for YNZ affiliated Yacht Club members to attend. Registration must be received 2 weeks before the start of the seminar. Registration is to be completed through or web site. The following seminars are scheduled:
- Umpires, Anyone who is interested in learning more about umpiring, or would like to begin there training is invited to send an expression of interest through to stuart@yachtingnz.org.nz we will look to organise training in the areas of the country where there is demand.
- Race Management Seminars
We may hold a second Auckland seminar if the first is over subscribed.
- Race Officers Conferenc, Auckland, 19th September
We will also be holding both level 1 and level 2 Judging seminars and umpires seminars around the country. If you would like one in you area please send an expression of interest through to stuart@yachtingnz.org.nz
The first confirmed Judges seminar will be on the 18th July at the Tauranaga Yacht and Power Boat Club. Click here to register.
