Early entry fee postponed
The organizing committee has decided to postpone the early entry fee with another week until Friday the 9th of May. This means that all of sailors who missed out on the first deadline of May 1st now have the opportunity to register and benefit from the early entry fee. Register here directly. |

Strong competition We want to give you an insight of the registrations in our 14 different classes which will sail during the 30th edition of the Delta Lloyd Regatta. First up is the Finn class, the winner of the ISAF World Cup Hyères Pieter-Jan Postma is present. In the 470 women class we take a look at the ISAF World Ranking list and we can announce that Tina Mrake & Veronika Macarol (SLO) the numbers three and Afrodite Kyranakou & Anneloes van Veen (NED) already registered for the Delta Lloyd Regatta 2014. If we take a look at the always popular Laser class We have number two and three of Hyères, Andy Maloney (NZL) and Rutger van Schaardenburg (NED), at the starting line in Medemblik. In the superfast Nacra 17 class we can proudly announce that there are already 5 teams from the top 10 ISAF World Ranking present at the Delta Lloyd Regatta, with sailors like Ben Saxton & Hanna Diamond(GBR), Iker Martinez & Tara Pacheco (ESP) and Pippa Wilson & John Gimson (GBR). New Sailors Home
The Sailors Home will be inside the Regatta Center. At this Sailor Home you will have the possibility to rest, follow the races, use fast Wi-Fi internet and have a bite to eat from the newly associated caterer. |

Prize giving ceremony in the old harbor of Medemblik The prize giving ceremony will be held at Saturday afternoon at approximately 6.00 PM in the old Harbor of Medemblik; the Oosterhaven opposite the famous Café called Brakeboer. We will have live music, watch the finals of the Moth Class and enjoy good food. It all has to do with 30 years Delta Lloyd Regatta, 725 year anniversary of the city Medemblik, and the 60th birthday of the owner of Cafe Brakeboer: Jack Brakeboer. |

Live results with Twitter stream In this year’s edition we want to assure we can have the latest results from our five different course published online. As well as we want to make it simple and accessible to follow all different races. Therefore you can follow each of the courses separately on Twitter; @DLRRedCourse (470 M/W & RS:X M/W), @DLRYellowCourse (Sonar, Skud18 & 2.4mR), @DLRGreenCourse (49er & Nacra 17), @DLRBlueCourse (Moth & Kite Surfing) and @DLROrangeCourse (Laser, Laser Radial & Finn).
