Waimakariri Sailing Club

Waimakariri Sailing Club has been somewhere that sailors have been enjoying our beautiful stretch of water for over 90 years.

If you already sail and want to join a vibrant and friendly club, then please come and say hi. We also offer our very popular learn to sail course for kids and adults of all ages, and we welcome anyone with a disability to come and have a go. We have boats to learn to sail in or hire on a daily basis on race days.

What is the cost? ....  Junior/Youth membership is $100, Senior $205, a family of 2 members is $300, a family of 3 or more is $350, Social $50 (all prices exclusive of the club YNZ affiliation fee). This includes the learn to sail course, use of club’s boats when available and lots of advice from our friendly members. 

Sailing isn't just a sport, it's a fun adventure activity that never stops! Please spread the word and come down to the club and Have-a-Go at sailing regardless of your age!
