How clubs can get involved

Clubs and individual members can play a big role advocating on issues that could affect their club or access to local areas.

The first step is to nominate a one or more people at your club to keep up to date with matters that may pose a risk to local club activities or projects you want to support.

Keep an eye on your local and regional council websites. Many of them have newsletters or subscription services you should sign up for.

Yachting New Zealand also keeps an eye on national and regional issues of interest to our clubs. We will keep you updated through our newsletter and emails.
