Gallagher Insurance and the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club present Port Nicholson Regatta 2026 featuring The Wellington Classic 19 - 22 February 2026. Racing is open to multihulls, sports boats, trailer yachts and keelboats.
The Wellington Classic combines the traditions of the past with modern-day sailing. Yachts sail a harbour course similar to historic regatta courses of the late 19th century and compete for prize money the modern equivalent of 10 pounds and 8 shillings (the amount awarded for regattas in the 1890s).
