2020 Whakatu Regatta incorporating South Island Championships for Starlings, Flying Dutchman, 29er and Europe classes.

Nelson Yacht Club

Nelson Yacht Club’s annual Whakatu regatta is happening again. This season we are excited to welcome sailors contesting the Starling, Flying Dutchman, 29er and Europe South Island Championships. The regatta is open to all other sailboard and centreboard classes, and up to 6 races will be scheduled over the weekend of the 11th & 12th January 2020.

There will also be an ‘Invitational’ casual short course race/series in front of the club and social/bbq, as well as registration on the evening of Friday 10th January for those sailors who arrive in time.
