180 from Albany High try sailing through Sailing… Have a Go!

Northland Sailing… Have a Go! Instructor Reuben Corbett had a big week out at the Albany Junior High Camp at Shakespeare Bay on the Whangaparoa Peninsula.

Reuben and a few helpers, Woo Yeong, Sylvie Admore, along with Charlie Baillie Strong and Kim Admore from Yachting New Zealand, guided over 180 students through a modified Sailing… Have a Go! program.

CBYC Summer Camp

January 7-9th, CBYC welcomed 52 Optimist sailors of all ages and abilities to the annual Junior Sailing Camp. I went along to help out and see what was going on at the club for the 1st 2 days.

The 2 days threw a mixture of conditions with winds blowing 0-30 knots and most directions. But the sun continued to shine and warm weather was had for all.
