Andrew McKenzie joined an elite group when he won his third consecutive New Zealand Laser national title in Christchurch yesterday.
New Zealand sailors collected one medal last night and two more have a chance of adding to that tally tonight after a day of high drama at the sailing world championships test event in Aarhus.
Fantastic sailing conditions greeted competitors in the Sailing World Cup Final medal races today, as the event in Melbourne drew to a close.
The two kiwis to compete in medal races for double points today were Laser sailor Andrew McKenzie, pictured above (Sailing Energy/World Sailing) and Laser Radial sailor Susannah Pyatt.
Pyatt says a perfect 15-knot breeze with waves and sunshine off the St Kilda Sailing Precinct made for great sailing, as she worked hard to improve her overall position.
