How did you get into sailing?
I got into sailing through a marine education program called Waterwise through my local primary school.
What is your favourite thing to eat after a long day on the water?
Mum’s Coconut chicken with rice
Where is your favourite place to sail?
Howick Sailing Club
What is your favourite thing to do when you’re not sailing?
Spend time with family and friends or any other marine activity such as surfing kiteboarding, wakeboarding etc.

What is the best thing about sailing your youth class boat?
The speed and close intense racing
What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the upcoming year?
To win a medal at the Youth Sailing World Championships or open world championships
How will you prepare for the Youth Sailing World Championships and which regattas will you be attending in the lead-up
Eli and I will be attending the New Zealand 29er National championships and training hard with our coaches. we may attend Kiel Week but that is still undecided
What do you hope to achieve in your sailing career?
- To race in the America's cup or in the Olympics for New Zealand
- To win a World Championship
What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date, and tell us how you felt?
The moment when I received the letter saying I was going to the Youth Sailig World Championships. I was ecstatic that I got the opportunity to represent New Zealand and that all my hard training had paid off.
