How did you get into sailing?
Parents used to sail and we live very close to a yacht club

What is your favourite thing to eat after a long day on the water?

Where is your favourite place to sail?
Auckland harbour

What is your favourite thing to do when you’re not sailing?
Coaching young sailors at Royal Akarana Yacht Club

Alex Maloney and Molly Meech.

What is the best thing about sailing your youth class boat?
There is good competition in the class and the boats are fun to sail

What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the upcoming year?
Go to the Youth Worlds and possibly 29er Worlds in the 29er class

How will you prepare for the Youth Sailing World Championships and which regattas will you be attending in the lead-up?
29er nationals and possibly Kiel week

What do you hope to achieve in your sailing career?
Do the Volvo Ocean Race

What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date, and tell us how you felt?
Winning China Cup in Far East 23's. It felt really cool to be able to travel overseas to a huge regatta and come home with a trophy.
