Last chance to nominate for Excellence Awards

Issue date

Time is running out to get your nominations in for this year's Yachting Excellence Awards, when outstanding individuals are recognised for their achievements.

The annual awards have been recognising excellence since 1963 and will once again hand out the Sir Bernard Fergusson Trophy for the Orbit World Travel Sailor of the Year that was won by Finn sailor Josh Junior last year. This year's nominations close at 11.59pm on August 31.

The recently-completed Olympics are bound to come into the equation in 2021, but the awards are also an opportunity to recognise the valuable work done by people behind the scenes along with some of our top youngsters.
