Yachting New Zealand is looking to appoint a Disabled Sailing Coordinator.

Great Marlborough hospitality, a mixed bag of weather, over 150 sailors, their families and supporters plus 3 days of great racing made last weekend’s Inter Islander again an amazing event.

Sailability Auckland is hosting a Talent Search Day for new disabled sailors in the Paralympic Class Boats of 2.4m, SKUD and Sonar. No prior sailing experience is required!

The 470 National Championship was held at Kerikeri Cruising Club over three days, with nine boats taking part in the mixed fleet. Paul Snow-Hansen and Daniel Willcox of Auckland came away with a win, having picked up the gauntlet laid down by Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie following Oceanbridge Sail Auckland earlier in this month.

All crews to Jack Tar! We are breaking from tradition. The inimitable Jack Tar at Wynyard Quarter will be hosting the annual Beach Party that is the hallmark of the Auckland Regatta. It's another reason to take part in this fantastic event.

French Bay Boating Club used Volvo National Sailing and Boating Day to race their Starling, Optimist and Open Handicap fleets as part of our Summer Series.

Manly Sailing Club hosted the 2014 RS:X and Techno National Championships over the weekend of the 14th, 15th and 16th of February.

Bluff Harbour is a challenging environment for the smaller dinghies, with commercial traffic, wind and tides affecting the ability of the young skippers to safely manage their boats. Golf prodigy Lydia Ko has taken the supreme honours at the 51st Westpac Halberg Awards at Vector Arena in Auckland tonight. Among the category finalists in 2014 were three from yachting including Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie, and Peter Burling and Blair Tuke – both finalists for Team of the Year which went to the All Blacks after a faultless season. Nathan Handley was again a category finalist for Coach of the Year, which went to Steve Hansen.
