The 2021 Harken National Secondary Schools Keelboat Championships featured such a tight finish the winning team didn't initially know they had triumphed.

The Harken National Secondary Schools Keelboat Championships brought together 18 teams from Christchurch in the south to Kerikeri in the north and saw some incredibly tight racing. The highlights package focuses on that and also features a number of interviews with those taking part.
The regatta was the first of three events that will be filmed by Yachting New Zealand in 2021 – Covid-19 permitting – and is done to help promote youth sport.
The next one will be this weekend's NZ Open Teams Racing Nationals in Kerikeri.
