Catch Maiden documentary and meet the crew

This story of Maiden is a really amazing one so get a group together and head along to Rialto in Newmarket on June 4.

This documentary is not due for public release until August and funds raised from the event goes to supporting NZ Sailing Trust and youth development programmes, getting more young people out on the water.

Tracey Edwards put together the first all-women's crew to compete in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race in 1989, winning two legs and finishing second overall. Now she's got her hands back on the boat, Maiden, and is using it to promote girls education on a two-year worldwide tour. 

There will be special guests, including Edwards and five of the present crew, and there will also be a Q&A session following the screening.
