The IOM New Zealand radio sailing Championships are being held in Hamilton this coming weekend on September 25-27. The venue is Hamilton Lake (Lake Rotoroa).
While the weather at Lake Ngaroto left something to be desired on Saturday 29th November, the turnout of potential sailors and volunteers couldn’t have been better for the newest Sailabilty’s first have a go day.
Hamilton Yacht Club is once again running it's Optisail Green Fleet and Youth Sail Training Camp between 19 - 22 January 2015 on Lake Rotoroa, Innes Common, Hamilton.
The Mercury Bay Boating Club promotes sailing and seamanship to adults and youth in Whitianga, a thermal ocean village on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. The Club runs a variety of centerboard and keeler events for their members in summer and winter. As of last year, the club has reinvigorated its youth sailing programs, and offers Learn to Sail 1, Learn to Sail 2, and youth mentoring programs for our juniors. Learn to Race clinics are also available and we are developing options for adults who wish to learn to sail as well.
