Bad weather hampered the final day of the Laser national championships on Lake Taupo but a host of new title winners were found.

This month's 2017 national Laser championships at Lake Taupo promise close competition across all open, masters and youth fleets.

A record fleet of 83 sailors is lining up for the annual AIMS GAMES Anchor Regatta. An impressive, 42 competitors lined up for last year’s inaugural event, so a doubling of the fleet for the event in its second year is an impressive achievement and testament to the excellent reputation of the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club in running events.
